The Mission of Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos (CCHSM) is to serve as a community beacon for the preservation, development, promotion and celebration of the Hispanic arts, culture, heritage and values.
The Centro's programs and educational curriculum include the areas of visual art, theater, dance, literature, music, multi-media and the culinary arts. These vibrant educational classes and interactive events for children, adults, families and diverse audiences take place throughout the year.

public on Saturdays

Texas Size Print: Texas Tour

Kim Bishop and Luis Valderas, artists from San Antonio, “Art to the Third Power” and the exhibit The Texas Size Print: Texas Tour. Also enjoy the artwork on display by students from San Marcos High School and the ArtSpace.

Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos
A unique Mexican custom, features a procession that follows the characters of "Mary and Joseph" from door to door as they are refused lodging for the night.
Visitors may participate in the procession and children are encouraged to dress as shepherds or angels. Special visit by St. Nick sponsored by Sociedad Cuauhtemoc.
